Bringing new life to a classic theme, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory is a 3D action-adventure inspired by Capcom's memorable Ghosts 'n Goblins, which came to life on countless NES and arcade machines through the mid-80s. This 2001 release for the PS2 is designed with a similar blend of familiar fantasy storytelling and tongue-in-cheek humor. In this adventure, the player guides the title character, a brave knight armed with shield, sword, and a hunger for vengeance, through a three-dimensional medieval world full of dangerous creatures and lurking evil.
